In 1976, Cannon met Simon Napier-Bell. They became friends and have followed each other’s careers throughout the many decades. When Simon joined up with Sir Harry Cowell, Cannon knew they’d produce something exceptional. What he didn’t know is that they had also partnered with his old friend John Payne from Asia. Together they created an exciting project, RAIDING THE ROCK VAULT, which is now receiving rave reviews in Las Vegas and is bound to become a classic rock show that will be enjoyed for generations to come.

RAIDING THE ROCK VAULT is “The Story of Classic Rock,” comprised of members from some of the greatest rock bands in history.

Narrated, sung and acted along with compelling imagery and historical footage, RAIDING THE ROCK VAULT transports the audience through a magical musical journey from 1950 to 1990, with classic anthems from The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Eagles, Queen, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Van Halen, Journey, Toto, Free, Bryan Adams and more, truly boasting “The Greatest Set List Ever.”

Written by esteemed Grammy Award-winning record producer David Kershenbaum (Joe Jackson, Tracy Chapman, Supertramp) and musician, producer and vocalist John Payne (Asia), RAIDING THE ROCK VAULT features timeless gems translated on stage live and loud by an all-star band comprised of Howard Leese [Guitar] (Heart, Bad Company), Doug Aldrich [Guitar] (Whitesnake), Robin McAuley [Lead Vocals] (MSG, Survivor), Paul Shortino [Vocals] (Rough Cutt, Quiet Riot), Jay Schellen [Drums] (Hurricane, Asia), Andrew Freeman [Lead Vocals and Guitars] (Lynch Mob, The Offspring), Hugh McDonald [Bass] (Bon Jovi, Ringo Starr), Michael T. John Payne and Fred Cannon — “John Payne gets together with Fred Cannon after 27 years after the legendary “Rock the Vault” concert at the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas…..John is the lead musician and creator of the “Rock the Vault,” concept hung out with Fred in London in the 1980″s, when he was with the band” Asia.”

This one-of-a-kind, rock concert experience kicked off its run at the LVH – Las Vegas Hotel & Casino in March of 2013. The show moved to its current venue, The New Tropicana Las Vegas, in November, 2014, and performs Friday-Wednesday at 9 p.m.

RAIDING THE ROCK VAULT has been the No. 1 Performance on TripAdvisor for the last 12 months and was voted Best of Las Vegas 2014 in the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s readers’ poll.
